Well, there were two things. One, you said you'd rather talk to me when you weren't under the influence of camp. [ or something ] And I wanted to ask about Pieces.

I wish I could lie and tell you that the things I said weren't true but I know I can't do that. I was being a possessive and jealous idiot over someone I have no right to. With Aya, it's more like I was being overprotective.

There's nothing wrong with that. I'm just not used to being the one whose attention people get jealous about. It seems like most people tend to categorize me as "harmless puppy", as it is.

But I don't treat Aya any differently than I treat most other women. Should I be more careful in the future?

The things I said weren't a big deal. You are, like you said, a 'harmless puppy' and I know that. I'm also aware that the touches tend to be mostly on Aya's end and any touches you do right back are mostly innocent. However, camp was forcing me to get feelings out that weren't important and I knew was stupid so you don't have to be careful because of me. Besides, I'm sure Aya would notice something is up.

It's because of the point in time he came from. The circumstances is that there has to be some sort of connection between the one with the ability and their victim. It can be a friendship or a relationship, as long as there is a connection, a Piece would be created.

That makes sense, I think. It's because I consider him a friend? Or, well. Them. Them as friends. But what are they for? I mean, why would they need to be created?

Unfortunately, I do not know. Only that it's what is created once the victim has become stone.

Yes and Medusa had two sisters, Stheno and Euryale. Rei and I found information about three young girls, all unrelated to each other, with the ability to turn people into stone. Once they were old enough, they began targeting men, establishing a connection with them before killing them. This went on for a few years with only the police knowing of the murders. However, during this time, two passed away leaving only one. It was her killings that got the public aware of what was finally happening because of Rei. He took photos of the victims and sold them to whoever paid the most money.

That's . . . certainly something, alright. So they were reincarnations, or something?

Reincarnations or experiments. The latter seems more likely though.
