He actually made me repeat myself when I told him to show me his hands. [ making Takeru the first person to ever make him do so! ]

They should be fine, now.

[makes a totally frustrated sound and shoves a hand through his hair, sighing]

I think the only reason he let me do it is because I surprised him.

He's kind of an idiot like that, I've discovered.

Yeah. [glaring down at his mug and trying not to fiddle with it before he takes a long drink]

[ sips at his tea . . . awkward kind of silence, but ] . . . You okay? You seem kind of grumpy today.

Yeah--sorry. [sighs and relaxes deliberately] He's just been really weird lately and I dunno what's up, I guess it's bugging me.

Understandable. No need to apologize. [ but he's not going to let on that he knows why, just yet. he'll give Takeru his week ] But yes, he's been moodier than usual.

At least it's not just me, I guess. [a little bitterly, before he shakes his head]

How've you been other than that, though? He can be a pain in the ass when he's in a mood, I know.

I've been alright. Still adjusting. I think he hasn't been overly grumpy towards me mainly because I don't ask a whole lot of him. [ also, cuddles ]

Camp hasn't been too weird?

[cuddles and makeouts, don't you lie to me]

Not recently, at least.

[ will not deny that there was making out involved, too ]

Good. [sipping his tea contently]

I just have to keep an eye out for anything that may become a problem. [ grins, and sips at his tea ]

[ laughs ] Point taken. [ moves over to go sit on his own bed ] But I can try to pretend nothing will happen.

Until you end up in places you shouldn't be or get blood spewed all over you when you're just trying to wash up.

I can deal with the sea cows, at least.

They're more polite than the toucans, at least.

I haven't seen any of those yet. What do they do?

But parrots can talk too, right? Doesn't seem weird that camp toucans could, too.
